    Digital ground fault detector for ungrounded single-phase AC systems up to 300 V

    This device meets or exceeds the requirements of NEC 250.21(B) and CEC 10-106(2) for ground detectors in ungrounded systems.

    The IR420-D4 monitors for ground faults in ungrounded single-phase AC systems up to 300 V by measuring the system's insulation resistance. A response value may be set in the range of 1 kΩ to 200 kΩ. The digital display shows the read insulation resistance in real time. All settings are also changed from the digital display. Two separate SPDT contact outputs may be set to normally energized or normally deenergized operation.

    The IR420-D4 utilizes an external supply voltage for power, which allows deenergized systems to also be monitored.

    The IR425 monitors for ground faults in ungrounded single-phase AC and DC systems up to 300 V by measuring the system's insulation resistance.     This device meets or exceeds the requirements of NEC 250.21(B) and CEC 10-106(2) for ground detectors in ungrounded systems.

    The IR470LY monitors for ground faults in ungrounded (floating) single-phase and three-phase AC systems by monitoring the system's insulation resistance. The device works on systems up to 793 VAC. Optional voltage coupler accessories extend this range up to 7200 VAC.

    Settings for the IR470LY are modified via the onboard DIP switches and potentiometers. The IR470LY utilizes an external supply voltage for power, which allows deenergized systems to also be monitored.

    The iso685 is the newest generation of ground fault monitoring for ungrounded AC/DC systems. Encompassing Bender's extensive expertise in ungrounded systems into one device, the iso685 works on virtually all types of systems, with simple installation and preset settings features.

    The iso685 connects to systems up to 690 VAC / 1000 VDC, and is compatible with systems with variable frequency drives (VFD / ASD). Optional voltage couplers extend this voltage range. During initial setup, the iso685 features predefined profiles that tailors the device's settings to your application. The onboard isoGraph feature allows for trending the system's insulation resistance over time - no software required.

    A variety of alarm outputs are available, including dry contacts, analog outputs, audible buzzer, and remote communication options.

The AMP Plus measuring principle utilized by the IRDH275 meets the requirements of modern power systems, including pure DC systems, systems with rectifiers, and systems with variable frequency drives (VFDs). In systems with high leakage capacitances, the IRDH275 automatically adapts itself to ensure an accurate reading.

    The IRDH275 features a digital display showing the system's insulation resistance'in real-time. All settings are changed via the device's built-in menu. The IRDH275 utilizes an external supply voltage for power, which allows deenergized systems to also be monitored.

    The IRDH275 is a DIN rail mounted type device. For the panel mounted version, please refer to the IRDH375.

    Digital ground fault detector for ungrounded solar arrays up to 100 kW

    This device meets or exceeds the requirements of NEC 690.35 and CEC 64-018(1)(e) for ground fault detection on ungrounded solar arrays.

    Designed specifically for photovoltaic systems 100 kW and below, the isoPV425 ground fault detector provides early indication of ground faults before leakage current may even be present. The device detects both AC and DC ground faults by monitoring the system's insulation resistance. The isoPV425 and AGH420 can connect to systems up to 690 VAC / 1000 VDC.

    Insulation resistance values are displayed in real-time on the device's LCD display. Additional overvoltage and undervoltage detection are available, with voltage measurements from positive to ground and negative to ground when connected to DC. Two single pole contacts are available, which may be set to normally energized (failsafe) or normally deenergized (non-failsafe) mode. An RS-485 interface is available for connection to remote BENDER communication gateways. For advanced users, separately adjustable values for resistance and impedance are available as well.

    The isoPV425 may also be used for determining PV system isolation prior to startup on both grounded and ungrounded solar arrays, per the upcoming 2014 requirements of NEC 690.5(A)(1) and NEC 690.35(C)(1).

    This device meets or exceeds the requirements of NEC 690.35 and CEC 64-018(1)(e) for ground fault detection on ungrounded solar arrays, as well as the upcoming 2014 requirements for array isolation testing prior to startup.

    The isoPV detects ground faults in isolated (ungrounded) solar arrays up to 793 VAC / 1100 VDC. The iso-PV monitors for ground faults by measuring the system's insulation resistance, providing early indication of ground faults before leakage current may even be present. Both AC and DC ground faults can be detected, including on systems that have high leakage capacitances.

    Designed specifically for photovoltaic arrays, the iso-PV satisfies the ground detection requirements of NEC article 690.35 for ungrounded DC solar arrays. Included are two components, the ground detector and the high voltage coupler. Both are required for operation (the voltage coupler may be installed in a separate cabinet to keep high voltage connections separate). The iso-PV features a digital display which shows the array's insulation resistance in real-time. Two SPDT contacts are available.

    The isoPV may also be used for testing array isolation prior to startup on both grounded and ungrounded arrays, per the upcoming 2014 requirements of NEC 690.5(A)(1) and NEC 690.35(C)(1).

Both AC and DC ground faults can be detected, including on systems that have high leakage capacitances.

    The isoLR275 is specifically designed for ungrounded systems which run at a low resistance to ground. Included are two components, the ground detector and the high voltage coupler. Both are required for operation (the voltage coupler may be installed in a separate cabinet to keep high voltage connections separate).

    Digital ground fault detector for ungrounded AC/DC systems

    This device meets or exceeds the requirements of NEC 250.21(B) and CEC 10-106(2) for ground detectors in ungrounded AC systems, as well as the new 2014 requirement of NEC 250.167(A) for ungrounded DC systems.

    The IRDH375 monitors for ground faults in ungrounded single-phase AC, three-phase AC, and DC systems by monitoring the system's insulation resistance. It may be connected to systems of AC 0...793 V and DC 0...650 V. Optional voltage coupler accessories extend this range. The AMP Plus measuring principle utilized by the IRDH375 meets the requirements of modern power systems, including pure DC systems, systems with rectifiers, and systems with variable frequency drives (VFDs). In systems with high leakage capacitances, the IRDH375 automatically adapts itself to ensure a reliable reading.

    The IRDH375 features a digital display showing the system's insulation resistance in real-time. All settings are changed via the device's built-in menu. The IRDH375 utilizes an external supply voltage for power, which allows deenergized systems to also be monitored.

    The IRDH375 is a panel mounted type device. For the DIN rail mounted version, please refer to the IRDH275.

An LCD display shows which branch has the ground fault after it has been located. One common DPDT contact is built into the EDS460.

    Ground fault location module for small ungrounded AC/DC systems

    The EDS491 ground fault location module, in combination with the appropriate ground fault detector, locates branch faults in ungrounded AC/DC systems. Up to 12 separate branches may be monitored by one EDS491 device. Up to 90 EDS devices may be connected together, for a total of 1080 branches simultaneously monitored. The EDS491 works on both AC and DC systems, including systems with variable frequency drives (VFDs). Devices are interconnected via RS-485 to automate the process of locating faults. An LCD display shows which branch has the ground fault after it has been located. One common DPDT contact is built into the EDS490, along with twelve separate SPST contacts, one for each channel.

    The EDS491 is used with the IRDH575 ground detector or LIM2010 line isolation monitor, and is designed for small control networks or isolated power systems. It features a common DPDT contact output and twelve SPST contact outputs, one for each channel.
