BENDER's standard hospital panel provides isolated power service and protection to operating rooms and other critical care areas. Designed in strict compliance with UL 1047, UL 1022, and UL 50, BENDER isolated power panels offer the most up-to-date technology fort all isolated power distribution requirements. Panels include:
A wide range of additional features and options are available, including:
The LIM2010 line isolation monitor (LIM) measures the total hazard current (THC) in an isolated power system. The LIM2010 is a full-featured device which includes a seven-segment display, digital display, and easy-to-read LED bar graph, connection monitoring, and compatibility with BENDER's ground fault location system and communication network. The LIM2010 may be configured for additional alarms, including transformer overload and overtemperature, overvoltage and undervoltage, and more. The LIM2010 has an automatic self-calibration and self-check feature. Multiple LIM2010 devices may also be controlled by a single, intellgent remote station. The LIM2010 is intended for use as part of an isolated power system that conforms with the applicable requirements of ANSI/NFPA 99, ANSI/NFPA 70, and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 29-M1989.
NFPA 99 requires that line isolation monitor (LIM) and ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) tests be conducted at regular intervals. The LT3000 is an effective and versatile testing instrument for easily fufilling these requirements.
The LT3000 plugs into any wall outlet up to 240 V, 50 or 60 Hz. A simple pretest confirms the integrity of the isolated power system and to ensure that the system is properly grounded. In the standard view, the LCD display shows the system voltage. In LIM/GFCI testing mode, adjust the current until it reads 2, 5 or 6 mA on the LCD display. Alternately pushing the L1 and L2 buttons confirms that the LIM / GFCI is operating correctly.
The ZT1590 digital clock and timer is a complete, microprocessor-based device that displays both time of day and elapsed time information. The ZT1590 has a dual-row, 7-segment display with large, red LED characters, easily read in high ambient light. All features, as well as the device setup, may be carried out with the four, onboard pushbuttons, or on an optionally connected MK1550 clock remote. No DIP switch configuration is required.
The digital clock on the ZT1590 may be set to 12 hour or 24 hour mode. The time is displayed on the top display. If power is lost to the device, the clock will continue to run (with the display inactive) for at least 24 hours, without loss of time. The elapsed timer begins in minutes/seconds, and will automatically switch over to hours/minutes after reaching 59:59.
The ZT1590 is a very low-profile device, with a depth of only slightly over 1". An external class 2 power supply (sold separately or as part of a kit) is available, allowing the ZT1590 to be powered by 100-240 VAC. Refer to ZT1590S for a complete, preassembled kit in backbox.
The ZT1590RS is a preassembled kit with clock and power supply, in a backbox with front trim. Refer to ZT1590 for standalone clock and components.
The ZT1594 surgical chronometer is a complete, microprocessor based system that displays time of day and three elapsed times. The system has four seven-segment displays with large, red LED characters easily read in high ambient light. All features, as well as device setup, are carried out on the connected MK1554 chronometer remote.
The MK1550 is a clock remote for use with the ZT1590 digital clock and timer. The MK1550 duplicates all functions of the ZT1590 and may be installed in a remote location. The clock may also be set up using the MK1550's four pushbuttons. The timer pushbuttons may be used to pause, resume or reset an elapsed timer when desired. The HOLD/RESUME pushbutton is supplied with a red LED, which flashes when the count is paused.
The MK1550 mounts in a standard single-gang electrical box.
BENDER's hospital grade isolation transformers provide isolation between configured primary and secondary voltages. Standard single-phase transformers are configured at the factory for a single primary voltage and a single secondary voltage. Dual secondary transformers are configured at the factory for a single primary voltage, a secondary voltage, and an additional secondary voltage rated for 120 VAC.
BENDER isolation transformers are intended for use as a part of an isolated power system. Refer to BENDER's line of isolated power panels for more information.
BENDER series GPM ground and power modules provide a combination of hospital grade power receptacles and/or ground jacks to satisfy the requirements of general and critical care areas. Straight blade (single or duplex) and twist-to-lock receptacles may be provided. Also available are hospital grade ground cords to facilitate the implementation of an equipotential environment.
Ground and power modules are designed in strict compliance with UL467, UL50, the NFPA 70 (National Electric Code), and NFPA 99.
BENDER XRM series x-ray/laser receptacle modules provide a convenient source of power for portable x-ray and laser equipment. Designed in strict compliance with UL standards, the XRM modules are a high quality outlet device accessory that is fully compatible with BENDER isolated power panels.
Type XRM modules include power receptacle which matches the NEMA plug configuration of the x-ray or laser equipment. In addition, the module may include a remote alarm indicator for the connected line isolation monitor at the isolated power panel. The associated isolated power panel will have a programmable logic controller (PLC) that works in tandem with the module to activate or deactivate the receptacle.
HGC and HGJ models are hospital grade outlet devices for the supply and grounding of portable equipment. Various lengths are available for ground cords, featuring highly flexible wire with a heavy duty clip or lug at one end. Products are UL listed to UL 1047.
